Wining, not Whining

On Friday night, April 30, I joined 14 other Alberta writers in a joint reading/wine tasting at 100 Wines in Calgary. The reading was in celebration of the nominees for this year’s Alberta Book Awards.

Each book was paired with a wine: Shimmerdogs with a Spanish wine called Celeste. The label is dark blue with constellations on it in silver. I haven’t tasted it yet, but the label was worth the purchase.

Whether you are a wine drinker or not, please join me in a toast to the arts and artists in Alberta. Long may we continue!

I was at the reading. I really enjoyed all of them, but your especially. Wondering if you’ve recorded readings of any of your books? If so, how can I find them?
